Whelping Assistance
Amores Whelps with LOVE!
We've been whelping our own litters for a long time, and we now help others in their times of need. We are required by AKC, as Breeders with H.E.A.R.T, to continue our breeder education and have taken more whelping classes and have been certified in more areas than we can count!
Whelping is not easy and not for the faint of heart! For us, though, it is very fulfilling! We love to see mommas come back to full health, see puppies thrive, and know that we've done everything we possibly can to help our fellow breeders.
We will NEVER overbook ourselves. When your litter is with us... they receive our undivided attention. We are full-time caregivers and will be at your litter's side 24/7. Therefore, we apologize in advance if we cannot take your litter. We recommend reserving your spot as soon as pregnancy is confirmed.
THE ENVIRONMENT
Our focus is on cleanliness, safety, and providing your momma and puppies with a safe and quiet area. Our whelping nursery provides just that. We have a safe, fenced in yard for your mommas to receive plenty of fresh air and exercise. Your mommas and puppies will be kept isolated and away from other humans and pets.

Puppies will remain in the incubator for at least the first 2-weeks. The hope is that momma is producing plenty of milk and that she can remain with her pups. However, that is not always the case. Rest assured we are well equipped to handle these tougher situations. We offer oxygen, nebulization, supplemental feedings, etc. And of course... lots and lots of love!
FOR YOUR MOMMAS
We strive to get mommas back to full health as soon as possible. We offer post-partum care, vitamins and minerals to aide in weight recovery, incision care and stitch removal, plenty of exercise and fresh air. And of course... lots and lots of love!
